The Iraq War Was Not a Mistake

My first cousin and his wife, Kenny and Jennifer, were killed 7 years ago today when the plane they were flight attendants on was hijacked and flown into the Pentagon at about this time of day. Watching the memorial services this morning has the harsh realities of that day and the pain swelling up again as if it were just yesterday. I will never forget those we lost that day.

Neither will I ever forget those who enlisted into our military since then to “make a difference” or those in uniform that have served prior to 9-11. For those of you who have been injured in Afghanistan and Iraq I wish I could thank you in person… thank you. For those of you who have lost loved ones who were courageously serving their countrymen I’m sincerely sorry for your loss. But know this… their death was not in vain and your fellow Americans are extraordinarily grateful for what they have done for all of us, especially us family members of loved ones lost on September 11th 2001.
